Professional Staff
The people you'll meet working at Evergreen are very friendly and courteous. They are experienced
and educated horticulturists who enjoy working with people and sharing their knowledge, and are
committed to providing the utmost in service and quality to our customers. We are fortunate to have
on our staff employees who have earned BS degrees in plant science and ornamental horticulture.
Several other employees have earned horticulture certificates offered through the University of
Rhode Island and the University of Massachusetts. Evergreen employees regularly attend various
seminars offered throughout the year sponsored by state and regional nursery associations.

About the owner
Larry Hindle started his professional career with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil
Engineering with distinction. His love of Horticulture was firmly set in these formative years
after college, enough so that he enrolled at the University of Rhode Island majoring in
Ornamental Horticulture, and graduated with the highest distinction in 1986. By spring of
1986, Larry had already begun his horticultural career at Evergreen Tree and Landscape,
as a designer, construction supervisor and store manager.
In 1991, Larry took ownership of Evergreen Tree and Landscape and continues to steer it
steadily into the future with the strongest emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Larry always makes himself available to answer your landscape related questions, and to
facilitate your next landscape project.
